Regional Rail Revival is a massive program of projects to upgrade every regional passenger train line in Victoria between 2017 and 2023. It will provide the infrastructure needed for more frequent and reliable services for regional Victorians who depend on the Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, Echuca, North East, Gippsland, Shepparton and Warrnambool rail lines.

The project will develop local industry skills and economies throughout regional Victoria and increase access to employment, education, community and health opportunities. The program of works includes new and upgraded stations, track duplications, track works, bridge structures, passing loops, stabling facilities, upgraded level crossings, signalling and rolling stock.
