Inland Rail is Australia’s largest ever freight rail project, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane through regional Australia.

The project is being delivered on behalf of the Australian Government through the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) in partnership with the private sector. Inland Rail will better connect producers to markets, creating new opportunities for businesses, industries and regional communities. It comprises 13 individual projects: seven in NSW, five in Qld and one in Vic.
