Infrastructure Advisory Group is proud to announce the appointment of Isabel Sprackman as CEO, effective from 1 July 2022. Isabel is an IAG co-founder, inaugural CFO, and a highly regarded infrastructure industry adviser with strong leadership and interpersonal skills – positioning her perfectly to lead IAG into its next phase of growth.
Since foundation, a key part of IAG’s organisational strategy has been to rotate ‘structural’ leadership roles every three to five years – to the right person, at the right time, in a supported manner, delivering:
- a culture that celebrates progression of colleagues;
- leadership development and succession planning embedded as business-as-usual; and
- IAG positioned as a long-term career destination with limitless development challenges and opportunities!
This leadership transition is a planned business-as-usual activity. Not many organisations have the CEO proactively recommend their replacement to the Board. IAG culture is a key factor of its success.”
Michael Kee, outgoing IAG CEO of three years, will continue as a Director and Executive Director with role within IAG said:
“I am delighted with Isabel’s appointment. It has been a great joy leading IAG as CEO, playing my part in establishing IAG as Australia’s premier whole-of-life multi-disciplinary infrastructure adviser, with a team of over 120 people.
I’m not going anywhere. I can’t wait to see Isabel’s contribution as CEO – she will be brilliant!”
Michelene Hart, IAG Chair and Quintet Yorkway Managing Partner, is thrilled by Isabel’s appointment:
“We are so pleased with Isabel’s appointment as incoming CEO. Isabel is a recognised industry leader and passionate about what matters most in professional services – clients, service excellence, people, and culture.
Like Mike’s recent parental leave and flexible working arrangements, it represents the IAG culture of “walking the talk” when it comes to diversity and gender”.
Isabel Sprackman is looking forward to taking on the role of CEO:
“I feel enormously excited and privileged to be taking on the role of CEO and leading IAG through this next chapter of our journey. I am so proud of how our business has thrived over the past three years under Michael’s expert leadership.
I am deeply committed to ensuring we keep unwavering focus on the most important and foundational pillars of our business: Supporting our clients by delivering service excellence with integrity and agility; and maintaining our culture that supports each person at IAG to excel in their own career journey in an environment that is inclusive, diverse, collegiate and entrepreneurial.
Leading from the front, I’m thrilled to be driving IAG onwards with the support of the Board, Quintet Yorkway and our broader leadership team.”
