15,000

The new $1.5 billion Footscray Hospital Project will address increasing demand for health services in Melbourne’s inner west by delivering more than 600 Points of Care when it opens its doors in late 2025 – representing the largest ever health investment in the State of Victoria. The project is being procured and delivered as an availability PPP and when complete the new Footscray Hospital will also be a major education, research and community facility.
Members of the IAG team delivered the Technical Lead role as an embedded member of the VHBA project team providing technical advice relating to the Project from brief preparation through to tender, evaluation and contract negotiation and execution.
Following Contract and Financial Close, IAG’s role was extended into the Development Phase to support the team to navigate through the Design Development Process, as well as the operational readiness and transition functions. This will ensure the facilities management solutions support the model of clinical care, delivering upon the Project’s overarching vision and objectives.
