Prior to joining IAG, Roger’s career spanned more than 38 years in the Australian Army, where he achieved the rank of Major General. During his service, Roger played pivotal roles in strategic operations and national security, including multiple deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan and East Timor. Following his retirement from the Australian Army, he served as Australian Ambassador for Counter-Terrorism. Most recently, Roger led the Defence portfolio at Laing O’Rourke, where he successfully integrated strategic defence priorities with infrastructure delivery.
Roger’s deep understanding of Australia’s defence and national security landscape, combined with his expertise in leadership and operational strategy, makes him uniquely suited to deliver high-level strategic advice to clients in an increasingly complex geo-political context.
