Rachel is an environmental planner and Certified Environmental Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience in impact assessment, planning, stakeholder engagement and project management. Her project portfolio encompasses transport, urban development, water and social infrastructure.
With experience gained across all phases of the project cycle, Rachel can shift between the strategic and the specific, bringing practical consideration of environmental and sustainability matters to project delivery. She regularly finds solutions for complex scenarios, and is proficient in the application of Commonwealth, Queensland, New South Wales and Victorian environmental and planning legislation.
In her leadership roles, Rachel has been responsible for obtaining statutory approvals, identification of offset obligations, technical and quality reviews, graduate and junior training, safety and well-being of field teams, project strategy, financial performance and on-time delivery. She is experienced in the management of multi-disciplinary teams and has a strong track record in authoring and peer reviewing environmental impact assessments for public exhibition and regulatory agency assessment.
