National Intermodal is the Government Business Enterprise aimed at delivering the freight terminals connecting to Inland Rail. The terminals are facilitate the freight transfers between road and rail transport modes. The aim is to make National freight distribution cheaper, more reliable and more sustainable for a wider breadth of Australians.

The Beveridge Intermodal Precinct is a freight facility planned 40km north of Melbourne, aiming to fulfil the above.

IAG is engaged for Project management services, including process integration across the different working groups (i.e. technical teams) and providing collaborative visibility across the different working groups. The team has also created, developed and documented project processes, created and developed bespoke project management tools to assist with visibility and collaboration and collated monthly reporting documentation.

IAG has also been responsible for collation and packaging of deliverables required for assurance Gates (i.e. internal milestones), interfacing with the Owners Engineer across a variety of technical and functional forums and providing advice on the best way forward in circumstances which require agility.
